Aleksandra Szcześ, Phd, DSc, Assoc. Prof

Director of the Doctoral School of Quantitative and Natural Sciences 

Prof. Aleksandra Szcześ has experience in chemical sciences, and her scientific interests concern interfacial phenomena and materials science. She researches the magnetic field in water treatment processes and the preparation of nano and biomaterials with potential application as drug carriers and adsorbents. He has experience in implementing and managing research projects. She started her scientific career with the Faculty of Chemistry at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, where she obtained doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in chemical sciences. She also completed postgraduate studies in cosmetology and beauty care, PR in scientific research, and research project management. She is the author and co-author of publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conference presentations. Since 2005, she has been working at the Department of Interfacial Phenomena of the Faculty of Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.

Doctoral School of Quantitative and Natural Sciences (DSQNS)

The Maria Curie Sklodowska University (UMCS) Doctoral School of sciences has a long-standing tradition and substantial experience in research and academic teaching as well as offers close supervision of candidates and supports excellent research. In addition, the DSQNS conducts education together with The Bohdan Dobrzański’s Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Lublin , The Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute in Puławy and Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences.

The Doctoral School of Quantitative and Natural Sciences educates young scientists in the following scientific disciplines:
