On 3 June 2023 students from Tanzania and Zimbabwe took part in the annual school feast at Primary School No. 28 in Lublin. Four students from the UMCS Faculty of Economics participated, they include: Innocent Novart (Data Science, 1^st year of Masters- Stefan Banach Scholarship recipient) and Erasmus+ students:  Joyce Meshack Magere, Elias Robert and Josephat Kimbage (2 ^nd year of Bachelor). Noreen Mrema and Anna Sanga final year students from Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management and the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism represented there Faculties. The students presented African dances on stage, inviting pupils to join. Among other activities of the day, UMCS students also taught basic Swahili to the high school students present. Everyone received certificates of participation.
