Maria Curie Sklodowska University (UMCS) offers a number of study programs in English, with this in mind language proficiency is demonstrated as a part of the University application process. It is an important aspect of the admission and curriculum since students are examined in English during the course of their studies at UMCS. In this respect, UMCS accepts standardized language proficiency tests as proof of command in the language. However, some applicants can qualify for an exemption upon meeting a number of parameters.
Our applicants can acquire admissions to the program of choice after undertaking or presenting one or two of the options listed in the requirements here.
A) An applicant has completed their undergraduate that was fully instructed in English. Thus requires a commendation from the University proving that the undergraduate programme studied was undertaken and examined in English.
B) An applicant agrees to undertake an interview with staff from the University to access their proficiency.
